Indian PM Modi will may visit Pakistan for SAARC Summit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will “certainly” visit Pakistan next year to attend the SAARC Summit according to Pakistan's Premier Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz.

Pakistan is going to host the 19th SAARC summit in 2016. Leaders of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will attend the meeting.

Talking about Indo-Pak relations, Aziz was quoted by Dawn News as saying that “all matters of common interest will be included in the talks, whenever they are started.”

Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar visited Pakistan on March 3 as part of his ‘SAARC yatra’ and held talks with his counterpart Aizaz Chaudhary during which he conveyed the expectations of the Indian leadership on SAARC and the determination to forge a cooperative relationship with all the neighbours.

Pakistan To Host Next 19th SAARC Summit

Pakistan is set to host the 19th summit of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) in capital City - Islamabad.

The announcement was done by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in his address to the 18th SAARC summit being held in the Nepal's capital

"Pakistan was pleased to host the next SAARC Summit in Islamabad," PM Sharif said.
